Here’s how participation, support plans, and giving work on this website.

Events and interest lists

A program without a published date collects interest only. A scheduled event registration confirms the number of available places shown in the response. When capacity is reached, registrations go on a waitlist. An interest or waitlist entry does not reserve a place.

Current event registration is free. Check the event’s audience, time, location, and description before registering. Event times are shown in Pacific time. Contact the team if you need to change or cancel a booking or discuss access arrangements.

Younger learners

Registrations for anyone under 18 must be completed by a parent or guardian. Event-specific supervision, materials, and participation arrangements should be confirmed with the team before attending.

Member accounts

Create an account with your email and password, verify your email, and wait for administrator approval before accessing the member dashboard. Signing up does not guarantee approval or activate a paid support plan. Accounts must be held by an adult or parent or guardian. Keep your password and verification codes private.

Project and research support

Plans without pricing or a payment link accept inquiries without a charge. Paid enrollment, when available, takes place through Stripe. Review the exact price, billing frequency, scope, cancellation terms, and refund policy shown at checkout or provided by STEAM Worlds before purchasing.

Membership support access starts after payment verification or team approval. No employment, academic, grant, research, or commercial outcome is guaranteed. Do not submit confidential work through the project form without a separate arrangement.

Research and member showcases

Research stories distinguish goals, observed outcomes, and measured results. Review any measurement context and supporting evidence before relying on a claim. Demo Day submissions are reviewed by the team; submitting does not guarantee selection or publication. Please share only project information and media you have permission to provide. A parent or guardian must submit for a younger learner.

Donations

Giving options, when enabled, lead to Stripe checkout. A one-time gift and a recurring gift are different commitments; check the selected option and the payment page carefully. This website does not represent that donations are tax deductible. Ask the organization for its current status and appropriate documentation if needed.

Confirmations and communications

Registration confirmations are shown on screen. Save your reference. Event confirmation emails are not enabled. Account verification and password recovery use email codes when email delivery is available. Sign in using your registration email to view entries and project replies in your member dashboard.
